Synopsis: Kelly was good. She was pure. She was also beautiful, and as she grew into womanhood, she found that when men pursued her, it was for one thing only. But what Kelly wanted from life was the love of an honest man, and a home somewhere deep in the green country. The man who could have made her dream come true was murdered, and the man she eventually married was charming but weak, and let her struggle to support her family and his while he drank and played with other women. Another woman might have thought her dream was doomed, but Kelly had faith, and at last she did find happiness, a home in the country, and the love of a man as upright as herself.
