Synopses:
#144 - Leah Gates made up crossword puzzles for a living, a nice tame occupation in a safe, urbane setting. And this, knee-deep mud, lashing rain, a burned-down cabin, she knew spelled disaster. What had her friend Victoria been thinking of, sending her up here to the wilds of New Hampshire? Woodsman Garrick Rodenheiser was stunned and wary when Leah turned up shivering on his porch. A beautiful woman, miles from nowhere, meant trouble for him.
#199 - As if juggling two jobs, her studies and visits to Rowena Carlin weren’t enough, Karen Drew was sick, miles from home in a blizzard and her car had died. Just when she though things couldn’t get any worse, she collapsed at the feet of Rowen’s grandson. Brice Carlin had no great love for her, Karen knew. He blamed her for the accident that had put Rowena in a nursing home, But his instincts as a doctor made him take Karen under his wing.
#280 - Picking up a hitchhiker in a blizzard was a dangerous thing to do, but Lily Danziger was already living on the edge. Having run from the so-called security of new England society, she and her newborn were on their own, destination unknown. She was willing to risk rescuing this taciturn cowbiy, known only as Quist. Before the day was out, however, Lily’s rugged fellow traveler was doing the rescuing.
Stud - A favor. A very personal favor. Not something that the president of a large chain of successful department stores is used to asking for, and certainly not from her best friend’s older brother. But then, Jenna McCue’s never gone looking for “stud” services before. And yet, when you think about it, is it really such a big favor?
