Synopsis:
Leah, heartbroken and tortured by desire for her aristocratic Creole lover, Baptiste Fontaine, she flees New Orleans on a paddle-wheeler bound for the North, bound for a new life with James Andrewsm the lawyer who saved her from the gallows.
