I try to be as thorough as I can be when describing books. Sometimes, though, I can miss a flaw. Generally, if you buy a book in as new condition, expect no flaws, if you buy something acceptable, expect some considerable wear. If you have any questions regarding book conditions, please e-mail me.
ALL books are used.
Here is how I grade my books:
As New - could be mistaken for new, no shelf/edgewear, no markings, no creases, no spine damage, the cover is shiny, dust jacket included for hardcovers
Very Good Condition - doesn't look exactly new, but almost, may have very light shelf/edgewear or a very small crease somewhere, dust jacket included for hardcovers
Good condition - you can tell this book is used, but is generally in good shape, there may be light spine creases, but pages are clean and intact and tight, may have a small bend or crease on a cover, may have slight tanning/yellowing due to aging, sometimes there may be one flaw (for example, I recently listed a book with a small tear at the top of the front cover, but I mentioned that in the listing, and the book is in good condition in every other respect), dust jackets may not be included or may have some wear
Acceptable condition - has some wear or tear or both, may have writing in margins or underlining, or yellowing/tanning of aging, spines are creased, but pages are intact, sometimes one or two are loose, but I will strive to mention that, moderate/heavy shelf/edgewear, dust jackets on hardcovers are worn or torn or both or missing
